BAFTA’s 2010
I got there at 6am on the day and there was already quite a big queue so I was worried I wasn’t going to get to the front but I managed to squeeze in. I got autographs off Anna Kendrick, Neil Blomkamp, Olivia Williams, Saoirse Ronan, Clive Owen, Eddie Marsan, Colin Firth, David Morrissey, Johnathon Ross and Kate Winslet and I got to shake hands with Prince William on television which is a bonus ;)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 premiere
I got there about 3pm the day before and the queue wasn’t really that big. We met some lovely American people there including Jacqueline and we ended up playing cards all night and chatting to other fans. I made a shirt which I got all of the fans queuing up to sign :) When the premiere started I managed to get autographs off Tom Felton, Evanna Lynch, Bonnie Wright, Alfie Enoch and some of the X factor contestants.
BAFTA’s 2011
I got there the day before this time and luckily there were only 11 people in front of me so I got number 12 wristband. I also met some new friends including Beckie, we weren’t allowed tents so we had to sleep under this theater canopy which wasn’t very comfortable but worth it. This time I got autographs off Rupert Grint, Jesse Eisenberg, Tom Hooper, Talulah Riley, Dexter Fletcher, Danny Boyle, Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter, Kevin Spacey, Mark Ruffalo, Dominic Cooper, James McAvoy, Julianna Moore, Aaron Johnson, Emilia Fox, Eva Green, Gemma Arterton, Emma Watson, Colin Firth, David Yates, Tilda Swinton and Jessica Alba.
Empire Awards 2011
I won tickets to the Empire awards in London so me and my friend Holly went down there and we got to walk up the red carpet and then we had a really posh meal and we managed to get photographs with some of the stars :). Tom Felton walked up to us, shook our hand and asked us ‘how we were’ :D
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere
I got there on the Monday and considering I was camping out for 4 days I met some pretty amazing people and got to do some cool stuff. When I got there I met some Canadians and an American that had been camping there for 8 days, I also met a guy called Christian from Australia. I was meeting up with the people that I had met at the BAFTA’s so I waited for them to arrive. On the first day we played this Harry Potter drinking game with Top Trumps cards. The second day we made posters for our camp out and ended up going to see Catherine Tate and David Tennant, we then went in a night club in our pajamas, on the third day it rained alot and we got given our wristbands and let into the pen where we would be stood. On the day of the premiere people were pushing forward from the back at lack 4am which is ridikulus as the premiere didn’t start til 4pm so we just sat where we were and refused to move, we all bought these bright orange survival bags because of the rain and called ourselves ‘camp orange’. When the premiere came i managed to get autographs off Evanna Lynch, Rupert Grint, Matt Lewis, Rohan Gotobed, Ellie Darcey-Alden, Dominic Gleeson, Warwick Davis, David Thlewis, Jamie Cambell Bower, Natalia Tena, Katie Leung, Imelda Stauntan, Helena Bonham Carter, James Phelps, Jessie Cave and Julie Walters. I forgot to turn my page over so Emma and Jo skipped my book because there wasn’t any room which I was upset about at first, but I thought that I could probably try and get them another time, and also I was grateful to be there in the first place, unlike other Potter fans around the world who couldn’t make it. At the end when they were making their speeches I was crying my eyes out, along with all of the other fans. It was an amazing experience!!!
BAFTA’s 2012
BAFTA’s 2012 was amazing. We camped out for 2 nights, first night it was -7C, I was really cold but it was worth it. I got to see and meet some great celebrities. Brad Pitt was signing autographs and then suddenly turned to me and asked me how I was. Inside I was like ‘asdfghjkl’ but I told him I was cold and squished. So he told all the people who were stood behind me to move back so that I could breath. So basically Brad Pitt saved my life :P. This time I got autographs off John Hurt, Jonah Hill, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Christina Ricci, Daniel Radcliffe (Finally) and quite a few others :) Here are some photos :)
